This bird didn't stand a chance against the new lens. A couple of weeks ago, I tried to take some pictures of the seagulls with my 18-55mm which is clearly inadequate for zooming in on them. In fact, I almost fell into the water trying to get a picture of the little buggers. After regaining my balance, I could see the seagulls secretly laughing at me. However, this time around it was a completely different story. With the 70-200mm, the poor bastards weren't safe at any distance.
